Public Television distributed segment highlights the people, programs and community connections at the heart of Venture Together's work supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Rockland County

NEW YORK, Oct. 21, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- For 57 years, Venture Together, Inc. has worked alongside people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families to build lives rooted in choice, connection and opportunity.

What began as a grassroots effort by a local parent seeking summer activities for their child, has grown into a comprehensive network of community-based programs and services across Rockland County. Today, Venture Together supports individuals throughout their lives through residential services, day and community habilitation, employment services, Camp Venture, therapeutic equestrian programs, recreation and more.

Now, that story is reaching a broader audience.

Venture Together has been selected as a featured agency on All Access with Andy Garcia, an educational program distributed to Public Television stations throughout the United States. A newly completed short-form video takes viewers inside Venture Together, highlighting the people, programs and everyday moments that demonstrate what meaningful inclusion looks like in practice.

The video brings viewers into Venture Together's community—from programs that help people develop skills and pursue greater independence to recreational experiences, employment opportunities and the community-based residences people call home. At its center are the individuals Venture Together supports and the staff, families and community members who help make that work possible.
