LUBBOCK, TX - Turning Point Community Church has opened its newest campus, West Loop, located at 5721 58th St. in a renovated movie theater on the growing west side of Lubbock. The campus holds Sunday services at 9:15 and 10:45 AM, with a livestream available at 10 AM for those who can't attend in person.
The building itself is part of the story. Once a theater built for movies, the space now hosts live worship, biblical teaching, and a close-knit community for anyone exploring faith, returning to church after time away, or just curious about what church is like. Services include modern worship and teaching grounded in Scripture and real life, with kids environments available during Sunday gatherings so families can attend together.
West Loop also serves as a gathering point for Turning Point's college-aged community (ages 18 to 24), giving college students in Lubbock a place to build friendships and grow in their faith. Students in 6th through 12th grade worship at West Loop on Sundays alongside their families, with midweek gatherings held Wednesday evenings at Turning Point's South Quaker campus.
"We didn't want West Loop to just be a new building, we wanted it to be a place where someone who's never set foot in a church before could walk in and feel like they belong," said Ben Chavez, West Loop Campus Pastor at Turning Point Community Church.
West Loop and Turning Point's original South Quaker campus operate as one church across two locations, sharing the same mission, values, leadership, and vision. For service times, directions, or to plan a visit, go to tpcconline.com/west-loop.
