Wolff Municipal Stadium. The funds, generated through an auction of special-edition player jerseys, will support the San Antonio nonprofit's adaptive sports and fine arts programs for children with special needs.

The evening pitted the Missions against the Wichita Wind Surge and featured a "Sandlot"-themed promotion honoring the classic baseball film. Missions players wore special "Sandlot" jerseys during the game, and those jerseys were later auctioned to benefit Kinetic Kids. The auction drew a strong crowd and raised $7,000 for the organization.

George Salinas Injury Lawyers is a partner and supporter of the San Antonio Missions and maintains outfield signage at the stadium. Salinas, who is chief executive officer and founder of the firm, is also a long-time supporter and board member of Kinetic Kids. The firm plans to formally deliver the funds during a ceremonial check presentation on Saturday, Aug. 8, when the Missions host the Springfield Cardinals. The presentation will mark the conclusion of the May 16 fundraising effort.
