September initiative brings together hearing health and hunger relief, with participating Beltone Centers collecting food donations and offering free hearing screenings
CHICAGO, Sept. 2, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- In recognition of Hunger Action Month this September, Beltone, a global leader in hearing technology, is bringing communities together for the third annual "Hear2End Hunger" Food Drive, a nationwide initiative supporting local food banks while encouraging Americans to prioritize their hearing health.
Throughout September, participating Beltone hearing centers across the country will serve as local collection sites for non-perishable food donations, with all contributions benefiting food banks and hunger-relief organizations in their communities. As part of the initiative, participating centers will also offer free hearing screenings throughout the month, giving community members an opportunity to support their neighbors while also taking a proactive step for their own hearing health. "Hearing health is an important part of overall health and quality of life, and we believe caring for our communities goes beyond the walls of our hearing centers," said David Molella, President of Beltone Hearing. "We're incredibly proud to bring Hear2End Hunger back for its third year and to see our hearing centers continue to rally around their communities. This initiative gives us an opportunity to help put food on the table for local families while also encouraging people to take a proactive approach to their hearing health. It's inspiring to see our centers, food banks and community organizations come together year after year to make a meaningful difference."
Hear2End Hunger reflects Beltone's ongoing commitment to supporting the communities where its hearing care professionals live and work. The food we eat plays an important role in our overall health and well-being, and hearing health is part of that bigger picture. Nutrients found in a balanced diet, including omega-3 fatty acids, magnesium, potassium, folate and zinc, support functions such as healthy circulation, nerve function and cellular health throughout the body.
By bringing communities together around food, hearing health and giving back, Hear2End Hunger is an opportunity to make a difference locally while encouraging greater awareness of overall wellness.
